Here is the location of Villa Paola Bed & Breakfast on a part of the Metro map of Rome. In the morning we arrange free shuttle service to the nearest train station Grottarossa, at a short ride from the Villa. At Grottarossa, the train runs frequently and takes in ten minutes to Flaminio Square, near the Spanish Steps. From Flaminio you can take the Metro A line, to reach any part of the city. The tickets for metro and buses of Rome are valid also on our train, as well as all the tourist travel cards. In the evening from 7pm to 10 pm we offer free pick up service from the station Grottarossa to Villa Paola B&B in Rome. Guests can also use our near bus service: the 029 bus stop is at 200 metres from the Villa and to reach us is available from the stop SAXA RUBRA, one stop after of Grottarossa. The bus runs every ten minutes from 6,30 am to 11,30 pm. Guests can get off at the junction before our street Via Parabiago, one stop before the huge hospital San Andrea and walk 150 metres to the Villa. In the evenings our guests can use our free private shuttle service.

DIRECTIONS TO VILLA PAOLA B&B IN ROME FROM TERMINI CENTRAL STATION

1. Always buy at tobacconists or at machines a few metro-bus tickets or the tourist 3 days card or the 7 day-travel card. All are valid for unlimited rides on all means of trasports in and in the vicinity of Rome, except on the train to and from the airport of Fiumicino;Children are free until the age of 10. Buy an Italy phone card at the tobacconists shops (euro 2,50 or 5,00) to call Fabiana's mobile phone. Before the use, remember to tear up the corner of the phone card.


2. Take the Metro A line - direction to Battistini - and get off at Flaminio.

3. from Flaminio follow signs to the Ferrovia Roma Nord. Then take the little train ''Servizio Urbano per Montebello '' (an electrical sign on the platform indicates ''Servizio Urbano per Montebello'') and get off at Grottarossa. Remember to request the stop in advance since Grottarossa is a request stop: for this ask the people on the train, to indicate you the stop in advance.

note that no telephone is available at Grottarossa Station, but if you need assistance you can ask the gentlemen at the entrance of the Grottarossa huge bus station.

METRO OPERATION

The metro operates from 5:30 until 23:30 (0:30 on Saturdays) every 3-4 minutes during rush hours, every 5-6 during the day and every 8-10 minutes early morning and late evening. THE METRO A LINE CLOSES AT 23,30 or later in the week end.
