Q: Do you have cooking
facilities?
A: Yes, we have cooking facilities in a kitchen fully equipped which
is at guests' disposal. There is a fridge, a stove and microwave to reheat
quick meals in the evening ideal for those travelling with little children. We allow guests to prepare quick meals.
Q: Do you clean the rooms every day during the guests'
stay?
A: No, according to the B&B italian low, we do not have to clean the rooms
or make the beds every day during the stay of our guests, but only once
a week. On request, we can do that but has extra costs. The linens and
towels are provided and changed weekly. Hairdryer is available.
Q: Do you have parking for guests's cars?
A: Yes, there is private large free parking internal to the Villa. There
is also large car parking area by the nearest Metro station Grottarossa
which are free of charge during all day. Guests with car rental will need to use their own car to reach the nearby station.
Q: Do you have satellite TV to see international
channels?
A: Yes, it is located in the large living room at guest's disposal.
Q: Do you accept credit cards or travel cheques?
A: Credit Cards are not accepted. For the deposit we can accept money transfers, bank
wires bank drafts or cashiers' checks in euro or USD. All foreign checks have extra
charge or 10 euro to cover our bank fees. Upon check-in for the balance,
we accept only cash, both euro or USD or travellers checks.
Q: Is Villa Paola Bed & Breakfast in Rome suitable
for children?
A: Yes, we love to welcome family travel with well behaved kids. There
is a spacious garden for them were they can play football and we provide
cots or extra beds for them. A little out door swimming pool is available
in July and August.
Q: How do I make a reservation?
A: We accept reservations by a deposit of 1/2 sent via cashiers' check
bank wires or money transfer payable in euro or USD. Checks are to be
sent via simple air mail.
Q: Are there any extra costs while staying at Villa
PaolaBed & Breakfast in Rome?
A: No. Only 15 euro for service, which is inclusive of all the little
transfers to train and restaurants and the final cleaning.
Q: Is there a pay phone at the Villa?
A: Yes, we have a pay phone at the b&b, it works with coins and with
prepaid international cards.
Q: Do the rooms
have security boxes?
A: No, but they are quite safe. You can leave values and documents in
the rooms.
Q: Do you have any single rooms?
A: No, we do not. We can offer to single traveller double room at little
discounted rates.
Q: Does your staff speak English?
A: Yes, our assistants speak english.
Q: Is Villa Paola B&B in Rome in good locations
for amenities such as grocery shops, laundromats, etc.?
A: Villa Paola B&B in rome well located for families, privacy,
tranquillity and romance. By Metro station DUE PONTI
one stop before Grottarossa there is a GS supermarket and a couple of good local restaurants who have good food at medium
cost. The staff will drive our guests for free only to the train station Grottarossa and to the local restaurants. The supermarket is located on
the train line at the stop Due Ponti. We can not provide laundry service. We have a laundry service nearby which can be called on request.
Q: Do we need to take linens or towels with us to
stay at Villa Paola Bed & Breakfast in Rome?
A: No, you do not need, also hairdryer and soap are provided. Only shampoo is required. We change
linens and towels once a week . USA or UK adaptors are necessary for other electronic
staff or for cell phones recharge.
Q: At what time do we have to check in and to check
out ?
A: Check-in is between 9:00 am and 21:00 pm - ALWAYS INFORM US ON YOUR
ARRIVAL TIME to find the staff waiting for you at the Villa or call from Flaminio so we pick you up at Grottarossa.
Check out at 10:00 am on the day of your departure. There are luggage lockers available
at the Termini central station. Of course there is no lock out time during your
stay but our shuttle service runs until 10pm.
Q: Can I walk from the Metro station Grottarossa
to the Villa?
A: We suggest the use our free shuttle service of our staff
especially if you are with children or luggage. The walking distance to
the bus stop n. 022 which connects to and from Prima Porta station is at 300
meters in front of the San Andrea hospital but we dont recomend walking along it with bags.
Q: How much does a
taxi cost from the city centre to the Villa?
A: it costs about 15 euro but always pay what is indicated on the metre and instruct the driver to put the metre on once you are inside the cab.
Q: Do you offer airport pick up service?
A: Yes, very safe and convenient but you must inform us by email on your
arrival time in advance. In the L. Da Vinci Airport or Ciampino
airport our driver will be at your arrival gate with your name on
a sign.
Q: Do you have rooms with private bathroom and toilet?
A: Yes, all of our rooms have private bathroom and toilet, two with bathtube,
all the others have shower.
Q: At what time do you serve breakfast?
A:We usually serve breakfast at 9,00 but if guests need to go out before that
time, we provide it before. They can get the pick up to the nearest station Grottarossa or to the airport also at early hours.
Q: Do you have adaptors for electicity convertion?
A: We have adaptors, but it is better you take one with you if you need
that for important electronical stuff.
Q: Have you a minimum or maximum stay limit?
A: Yes, our minimum stay is three nights and our maximum is two weeks.
Q: Is a swimming pool or the beach at easy reach?
A: The little outdoor pool in available in July or August only for little
kids. Ostia Antica is recommended for the visit to the famous ancient ruins and its beach were you can swim is less
than an hour by metro from Rome.
